Updated: Apr 17

You made have heard the term glamping thrown around a time or two and to avoid appearing "unhip" or not as "socially advanced" as others you just chose to nod your head or even change the subject. Or maybe, just maybe you Googled "what is glamping" and it peaked your interest a little bit. Well, we're here to tell you that not only is glamping one of the hottest trends when it comes to outdoor activity but North Carolina offers some of the prettiest scenery to do just that, and we have some of the best weather this side of the Mississippi! Glamping (glorious + camping) is where the beauty of nature meets modern luxury and here at the Farm at Piper Hill we want you to experience our 100 acre property in a whole new and exciting way. There is no need to pitch a tent when you stay with us, all of our glamping sites are set up and ready to go when you arrive, all you need to do is relax and enjoy this unique experience for the weekend or as long as you'd like.

We offer hard tents or canvas bell tents. Our waterfront hard tents sleep up to 4 and are situated right on the pond where fishing and boating are just steps away from your bed, right on your own private dock. Our platform canvas bell tents sleep up to 4 as well and you can choose between the field area near the creek trail that has a sprawling view overlooking the animal pastures, pond and barn or a pond view that is located closer to the animals, pond and barn. All of our tents are beautifully decorated, have cozy beds and come with solar powered lights outside, battery operated lights inside and heavy duty lithium batteries to operate small items such as a small fan, cell phone charger or lamp.

During your stay you can enjoy hiking, metal detecting, fishing, disk golf, lawn games, a putting green, feeding and playing with the animals, kayaking, stargazing or just relaxing and unplugging from everything. In the morning, you will even have access to the chicken coop for fresh eggs! Plan a romantic couples weekend, a wine and dine with your girlfriends or a family reunion, the sky's the limit here at the farm. Let us help you plan the perfect Glamping Getaway that's hidden away right here in the Triangle area. For more information and pricing check out our website at www.thefarmatpiperhill.com.
